It’s the last weekend of November - and that means, No-Shave November is coming to an official close.
For those unfamiliar with this tradition, “Noshember” is a month-long campaign that encourages men and women to forgo their typical grooming tendencies and embrace their natural hair trajectories. Instead, participants can forward the budget usually allocated towards shaving products towards cancer prevention and ultimately, further cancer awareness.
Countless stars of rock ‘n roll have historically embraced and expressed their individualistic personalities through a commitment to their facial forests. We believe in the power of promoting the hairy undertakings of our bearded rockers to honor those participating this month and stand strong with those fighting the battle.
We’re itching to close out this month with one of rock’s most recognizable singing voices and staches, Led Zeppelin’s lead singer and lyricist, Robert Plant.
We salute Plant’s commitment to his signature combo, pairing the stache with the goatee, consistently throughout his career.
From time to time, we’ve seen almost all members of the Zeppelin group don a half-mast hairiness, complemented nicely with their long locks running free.
But it is truly Plant who has persevered in showcasing his neatly maintained goatee with time and age, from the silver lining stache to the curly locks that have adorned the singer-songwriter’s head throughout his public performances, perhaps a symbolic highlight reel to his illustrious career.
