So you're stuffed with turkey and you've got a long weekend ahead of you. If you're a music lover - of course you are, that's why you're here! - you've got visions of records dancing in your head. And your favorite local stores are working hard to ensure that Record Store Day Black Friday keeps buyers safe and healthy!

Those who love classic rock have some great titles to choose from this year. Here are some of our favorites that you can find at your participating Record Store Day shops!

The world didn't get its first introduction to Motörhead on record until 1977's self-titled debut. The first album they recorded a year, On Parole, ended up becoming their fourth album - released after 1979's twin onslaught Overkill and Bomber and featuring many of the songs first heard on their debut. On Parole gets a special CD and 2LP release for Black Friday, offering the full album plus six demos and alternate takes - two of which have never been released! (The band is also releasing a "Christmas" edition of their signature single "Ace of Spades," featuring an unreleased instrumental and a picture of the band in Santa suits!)

Lou Reed

If you loved the deluxe edition of Lou's 1989 album New York, you might want to check out 1992's conceptual Magic and Loss, back on vinyl for the first time since its original release. This time it's pressed as a double LP set, with an etching on the fourth side. A previously unreleased 1973 live set recorded at New York's Alice Tully Hall is also making its vinyl debut for Black Friday.

John Prine

The late, legendary singer-songwriter's early work was compiled on a 7CD box set earlier this year, and now The Asylum Albums collects the folk-pop of 1978's Bruised Orange, the Sun Studios tribute Pink Cadillac (1979) and the country-tinged Storm Windows (1980). They're pressed on 180-gram vinyl, replicating the original artwork - plus a new slipcase, of course.

The Stranglers

One of the longest lasting groups of the British punk scene, the 2002 collection Peaches: The Best of The Stranglers will make its vinyl debut for Record Store Day. It features 20 of their biggest hits, including "Golden Brown," "No More Heroes," "Strange Little Girl" and many more.
