Bruce Springsteen's newest album will be celebrated in a documentary exclusively available on Apple TV+.
The New Jersey rock legend announced Bruce Springsteen's Letter to You, a new feature-length film directed by longtime collaborator Thom Zimny, to premiere on the streaming service Oct. 23, the same day his 20th studio album, Letter to You, is made available. The film will feature "full performances from The E Street Band, in-studio footage, never-before-seen archival material and a deeper look into Letter to You from Springsteen himself."
Letter to You was recorded over four days in November 2019 with Springsteen's longtime collaborators in The E Street Band - their first appearance on an album of his since High Hopes in 2014. Cut live in studio with no overdubs, the album will feature several brand new songs like the title track and the introspective "Ghosts," plus three tracks Springsteen wrote before the release of his 1973 debut Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.

Springsteen has remained active in quarantine, inspiring fans with semi-regular sets from his Sirius XM station E Street Radio. He also landed cover features in Rolling Stone and AARP in September.
