"It's extraordinary for me to look back on this era of my career," Rod said of the box in a statement. "I think fans will enjoy experiencing these songs on vinyl. I know I did."

Already beloved for his distinctive voice as a soloist and alongside bands like Faces and The Jeff Beck Group, Stewart made two big moves in 1975, signing a deal with Warner Bros. Records and leaving his native England for America. Over the next four years, Rod was a dominant force in '70s rock and blue-eyed soul, releasing smash hit after smash hit including "I Don't Want to Talk About It," "The First Cut is the Deepest," "You're in My Heart (The Final Acclaim)," "Hot Legs" and the U.S. chart-toppers "Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright)" and "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?"
