In a new Instagram post, the group confirmed that they will be postponing the tour dates until "June/July 2021" with exact dates to be announced "as soon as [they] are able."
Fans will continue to have to wait for potential refunds, as the band is "still reviewing specific ticketing policies with our partner in each country." Ticket holders will be notified of any updates.
PJ guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready appeared on their first Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) Thursday night to discuss the tour postponement and their new album Gigaton.
Gossard explained the quintet had “rehearsed a few times” before making the decision, adding that there is “lots of dessert going on here right now — captive audience!” McCready revealed how he keeps sane in the quarantine - sharing he’s been spending his quarantine time “learning how to fingerpick, working on scales I never knew and taking singing lessons. Gotta keep learning.”
