It's November 1 - and that means, No-Shave November has officially begun.
For those unfamiliar with this tradition, “Noshember” is a month-long campaign that encourages men and women to forgo their typical grooming tendencies and embrace their natural hair trajectories. Instead, participants can forward the budget usually allocated towards shaving products towards cancer prevention and ultimately, furthered cancer awareness.
Countless stars of rock ‘n roll have historically embraced and expressed their individualistic personalities through a commitment to their facial forests. We believe in the power of promoting the hairy undertakings of rock legends to honor those participating this month and stand strong with those fighting the battle.
When it comes to this journey, it feels best to start strong, so for this first week’s spotlight, our fearless Bearded Rockers Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill from ZZ Top came naturally to mind.
Legend has it, Gibbons and Hill been offered $1 million to shave off their treasures, and in true rock fashion, they declined.
Strangely enough, the final member of ZZ Top, Frank Beard, goes around clean-shaven, but has been spotted sporting a ‘stache from time to time.
These men's beards are so infectious, their guitars decided to join along in the fur festivities.
How’s that for a start?
