The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has added guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee into Motorhead’s nomination within the Class of 2020 list.

While there has been no official statement released by Rock Hall, Motorhead’s biography on the site has been updated to include the two members in the listed lineup, whereas the original nomination only cited Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, “Fast” Eddie Clarke, and Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor.”

Having been described by the late Lemmy as his favorite lineup of the band, Campbell has served with the band 31 years and Dee with 23 years.

In a social media post, Motorhead praised their fans for Rock Hall’s rectification, stating “Thanks to everyone who spoke up loudly. Thanks to the Rock Hall for listening and adding Phil and Mikkey. All for one and one for all!

Dee commented on the initial snub, lamenting to Billboard, “That [was] pure wrong, I would say, and I know Phil [is] very disappointed, too.”

Dee contributed to 12 of Motorhead’s studio albums after replacing Phil on the drums and elaborated on injustice of the duo’s exclusion, “We’ve been carrying the flag for 25 years together, and actually brought Motorhead to what it was. We did 25 years out of the 40.”

With the original omission now corrected, Dee will be happy to attend as he stated, “Phil and me have to attend - and play there, of course. It would be a real honor.”
