AC/DC is officially back in black. After a series of social media teasers, the Australian hard rock legends have revealed that they've got the old band back together again: Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, Phil Rudd, alongside rhythm guitarist Stevie Young (Malcolm Young died in 2017).

The band confirmed the lineup on social media today, marked with the hashtag #PWRUP. The term is believed to be the title of a forthcoming new AC/DC album.

The reunion follows a tumultuous time for the group; Johnson had to bow out after experiencing hearing loss, and was replaced by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose for a series of tour dates.

Rudd had been replaced by a returning Chris Slade on the Rock or Bust tour after he was found guilty of drugs possession and making threats to kill in 2015. Bassist Williams officially retired from the band in 2017.
