Bret Michaels is having a moment. The Poison singer/nicest guy in rock was recently unveiled as the latest celebrity on The Masked Singer, and has announced an upcoming autobiography for the spring. Unfortunately, what was to be his biggest moment of the year--performing with Poison as part of the blockbuster summer stadium tour with Def Leppard and Motley Crue--is currently in limbo due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tour was scheduled to launch June 18 in Jacksonville, FL. As of right now, the shows have yet to be postponed.

"We'd all have to discuss it as bands and everybody," Michaels told Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg on SiriusXM. "It comes down to the bands, because you've also got the lives of crew, your production — everybody that's traveling with you. And we all would have to make that decision together. And I think you do it when it's right and it's safe, because the first thing that matters is health is number one. Would I love to do it? Absolutely. But our health, the crew's health, the fans' health, that's the first thing.”

Michaels gets realistic about changing dates pushing up against any potential football and baseball seasons this year, and how the window to shuffle things around is closing quickly.

"Everything all of a sudden shifts," he admitted, while insisting that he wants nothing more than to hit the road and rock. "I would love to, when the health time is right — when we know no one's gonna get sick and we can go out there and bring it 1,000 percent."
