Miley Cyrus delivered a country-rock infused cover of the Beatles' "Help!" during Global Citizen's "Global Goal: Unite for Our Future" charity livestream event on Saturday.
"During this time of COVID-19, we are coming together in a different way…we are uniting with the goal of ensuring EVERYONE has access to the solutions to end this pandemic," the singer tweeted.
"I dedicated this performance to everyone who is working tirelessly for testing, treatments and vaccines so all of us can come together in places like this empty stadium…. I can’t wait to be together again.”
Cyrus stands alone at a stranded Rose Bowl Stadium as she adds acoustic guitars and a thick twang to the 1965 Four Fab classic.
The virtual musical event was hosted by Dwayne Johnson and also featured the performances of Shakira, Jennifer Hudson and Justin Bieber.
