Despite the tense week of drama, including a filing and rejection of a lawsuit from drummer Joey Kramer, Aerosmith rocked the Grammy Awards stage Sunday night with Run-D.M.C. for a reunion rendition of their classic "Walk This Way."

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers started their set with their 1975 rock hit  "Livin' on the Edge," which earned them a Grammy win during the 1994 awards show. In the middle of the song's high-energy delivery, frontman Steven Tyler took the crowd, at one point pulling rapper Lizzo up to the stage for an impromptu chorus during the track's chorus.

Then, the music cut as the legendary Run-D.M.C. burst onto the stage with a wickedly explosive rap-rock rendition of "Walk This Way,"  which was disjointed at times with minor sound problems, but a fiery reunion performance nonetheless. During their iconic reunion, Run's DJs paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant by wielding his jersey high in the air as Flava Flav rocked out with the crowd.

In spite of the hectic week, the aforementioned tension between Kramer and the band, the drummer attended non-profit organization MusiCares' event on Friday night, delivering his heartfelt speech after Tyler's while the band was honored as the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year with, "A shoutout for love and gratitude — to MusiCares, to all our fans, to my partners, to my forever-supportive wife Linda, and to you guys out there and the music industry.”
