The family of late Rush drummer Neil Peart have announced a special memorial concert in his honor. The event, “A Night for Neil – The Neil Peart Memorial Celebration," is planned for May 16 in Peart's hometown of St. Catharines, Ontario, in Canada. The event is happening at the Meredian Centre hockey arena in conjunction with Rush charity, Overtime Angels.

The lineup for the show has yet to be announced, but is expected in the coming weeks. All proceeds will go to a handful of charities: St. Catharines Hospital and Walker Cancer Centre; The Juravinski Hospital & Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario; and The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario
