Rush Drummer Neil Peart Dead at 67

The rock and roll world was shocked today with the news that legendary Rush drummer, Neil Peart, has died. He was 67 years old.

Peart had been quietly battling brain cancer over the past three years, and he leaves behind his wife, Carrie Nuttal, and their daughter, Olivia. The band has spoken on Peart's passing via social media. See the message below.

Rush retired from touring in 2015. Sending thoughts and prayers to Peart's family, bandmates and friends.
