Rod Stewart will tour across North America this summer with special guest Cheap Trick.

The 2020 tour will kick off at the Blossom Music Center in Ohio on July 21 and continue rocking on throughout a 21-date North American trip before wrapping up at Tinley Park in Illinois on Sept. 5.

Tickets go on sale later this week and are available both on Stewart's website and on Cheap Trick's website. Stewart's fan club will host a pre-sale at 10AM local time today, while Cheap Trick's pre-sale will begin Jan. 8 at 10AM.

The tour announcement follows hot on the heels of Stewart's misdemeanor count of simple battery after a New Year Eve's altercation in Florida.

Although Stewart wasn’t arrested that night, both he and his son Sean are facing legal action over the alleged assault and have been ordered to appear in court in February.

Stewart recently put out an orchestral album, You’re In My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, that feature some of his classic hits, including "You're In My Heart."

He remarked,"I told them I'd like to hear a couple of takes and see what they can do with these songs. I was pleasantly surprised with what they came back with."
