For a legendary rock star famous for wearing face paint onstage, KISS frontman Paul Stanley has some rather conservative views when it comes to face tattoos.

Over the weekend, Stanley shared a CNN news story regarding the growing trend for face ink, featuring a photo of famously face-tatted rapper, Post Malone. His caption for the article was just one word: "Don't." The fallout from the tweet was enough for Stanley to jump back on the social media platform today with an update to clarify his position.

"BTW... I'm a big fan of Post Malone and didn't choose his photo," the rocker posted. "Aside from a few already successful entertainers and the kids of a few rich celebrities who may not worry yet, marking your face will GREATLY limit your options and is a fad that will cost you more than that tattoo."
