The Mac is back. Fleetwood Mac's classic Rumours album, originally released in February 1977, has crashed the Billboard charts once again to peak at #7 on the Hot 100 this week. The same record that ruled the Billboard 100 for most of 1977 still holds the record for 31 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 over the years of 1977-78. That's the most for any duo or group.

Rumours was last in the top 10 on the Feb. 18, 1978-dated chart (at No. 10), and last ranked at No. 7 or higher on the Feb. 11, 1978 chart (where it placed at No. 7).
Helping drive this surge in sales, of course, is Nathan Apodaca, known by millions as the "Fleetwood Mac skateboarder" 420Doggface208. His TikTok featuring the band's Rumours hit, "Dreams," has kicked off a viral resurgence for the song and now, the album. Both Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood have shared their own takes on the video, and Apodaca has become a star, not to mention the owner of a shiny new truck and cases of his beloved Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice.
