Christian Nesmith knows a thing or two about Monkee business. The eldest son of Mike Nesmith and his first wife Phyllis Ann Barbour, Christian has recorded or toured with members of King's X and Megadeth, Australian soft-rockers Air Supply, and even worked alongside his father on the road with The Monkees and Nesmith's First National Band.

On the latest episode of The Rhino Podcast, Christian shares the inside story on his newest project - one that'll excite Monkees fans looking for some new takes on classic sounds. He's produced Dolenz Sings Nesmith, a new solo album by fellow Monkee Micky Dolenz. It features brilliantly reimagined versions of Nesmith's most beloved songs, from hits like "Different Drum" (recorded by The Stone Poneys, featuring a young Linda Ronstadt) to Monkee deep cuts ("Tapioca Tundra," "Propinquity") and many more.
