Metallica to Stream Their 40th Anniversary Concerts

Can't make it out to Metallica's 40th anniversary concerts in San Francisco? They've got you covered with a special livestream.

The band's sets at the Chase Center on Dec. 17 and 19 will be broadcast live in partnership with The Coda Collection, a streaming channel for concert films and music documentaries available through Amazon Prime Video. Both shows can be seen for free, with or without a subscription to Coda.

And it's not the only feature Coda watchers can check out featuring the metal icons. The concert films Cunning Stunts (1998) and Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México (2009) can be viewed on the channel. Three more - 1992's A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica, 2009's Francais por le Nuit and 2012's Quebec Magnetic - will be made available to stream on Coda in 2022.
