Jim Morrison, meet Marilyn Manson.
Manson channels the legendary lead singer with a new eight-minute-plus version of the chilling final song on the Doors' classic 1967 debut album.
The creepy cover of the chilling track was created with Shooter Jennings for an upcoming revival of a horror classic.
“Shooter and I also did a cover of ‘The End’ by the Doors, for a new miniseries of The Stand by Stephen King, which I’m also going to be acting in,” Manson told Revolver. “I think that sort of kick-started our process for the album and started us exploring different things.”
The song is currently available to listen to via streaming, and can be purchased as a limited edition 12-inch single here. Listen to it below.
