
Eddie Van Halen is alive and well in Los Angeles.
Despite rampant reports that the Van Halen guitar legend has been battling throat cancer with a specialist in Germany, Van Halen was spotted at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles to take in a show by the band TOOL.

Eddie was at the show with his son/Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, who captured a priceless moment at the end of the concert.

"A guy asked my dad if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him, having no idea who he just asked, and that was my favorite moment from the Tool show last night," Wolfgang posted on Twitter, complete with a photo of his dad snapping a photo of the TOOL fan. See the tweet below.
