Mac Davis got his start working for Nancy Sinatra's Boots Enterprises in the 1960s, performing on many Sinatra recordings. A songwriter, Davis can count the famous Elvis Presley classic, "A Little Less Conversation," among the songs he's written.
Moving into the world of country music in the 1970s, Davis found much success in the world of television, including his very own variety show, The Mac Davis Show, for two seasons on NBC in the mid-'70s.
The list of credits and accolades to his name are many; Mac Davis has done everything from making his big-screen debut opposite Nick Nolte in classic 1979 football film, North Dallas Forty, to recurring voice roles on FOX TV's animated series, King of the Hill. Everyone at Classic Rockers is keeping him in our prayers, and wishing for a speedy recovery. Get soon, Mac!
