It's only taken 50 years, but the official boots of all rock and roll fairies are finally coming. Legendary shoemaker Dr. Martens has teamed up hard rock pioneers Black Sabbath to create a  new capsule collection based on the band's first two albums.

"Before there was metal, there was Black Sabbath," Dr. Martens said in a press statement. "It’s been 50 years since their groundbreaking debut records crash-landed onto the music scene. And changed the course of rock history. In our first collaboration with the ‘godfathers of heavy metal’, we celebrate Black Sabbath and Paranoid’s 50th anniversaries, and shine the spotlight on Keith McMillan’s 'Keef’s' equally hard-hitting artwork," the company added, shouting out the band's famous designer.

The boots arrive on October 1, 2020. There's no indication if they're going to be limited edition or in plentiful supply, so shoppers are advised to sign up for the newsletter right here for the first crack at these beauties.

Dr. Martens showed off the shoes in a snazzy Instagram video. Watch it below.
