Calling all the lonely people! The Beatles have a trippy treat in store for this weekend in quarantine.
YouTube Music will host the worldwide Beatles singalong for free in a special live-stream event. The singalong version of The Beatles' restored film 'Yellow Submarine' will air on The Beatles YouTube channel this Saturday, April 25 at 12PM EST/9AM PST.
The animated film was released in theaters in 2018 to celebrate the film's 50th anniversary and has been unavailable since. The psychedelic film comes packed with Beatles hits, including "Eleanor Rigby," "When I'm Sixty Four," "Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds," "All You Need Is Love," and "It's All Too Much." Lyrics will appear on the bottom of the screen for viewers to croon along together.
Directed by George Dunning, 'Yellow Submarine' is written by Lee Minoff, Al Brodax, Jack Mendelsohn and Erich Segal, with art direction by Heinz Edelmann and additional score composition by George Martin.
